By Anonymous Diamond Bar, CA, October 2, 2002—DACOR®, a leader in high-end kitchen appliance design, manufacturing and distribution, today announced the introduction of the new 30” Microwave Convection Hood (PCOR30), the only over the range microwave convection hood approved for installation over the DACOR commercial style Epicure 30” dual fuel range. The three-in-one PCOR30 combines the convenience of a microwave, the baking, browning, broiling and crisping capabilities of a convection oven and the power of an over-the-range hood to create a visually pleasing space-saving design.
In addition to microwave and convection cooking, the PCOR30 features a combination mode that creates a fusion of microwave speed with the browning and crisping capabilities of a convection oven. Roasting chicken or baking blueberry muffins has never been easier in terms of speed and cooking quality. The PCOR30 offers a two-level cooking rack; a 13” turntable that can be disabled to cook with larger oblong dishes; 850 watts of power; and a stainless steel 1.1 cubic foot oven cell. For added cooking convenience, the PCOR30 also features sensor modes; a keep warm feature; an on-screen cooking guide; a kitchen timer and a child safety lock.
The PCOR30 ventilation system is equipped with a 300 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) blower or an optional ILB8 remote blower for 600 CFM of ventilation. The fan controls allow variations in blower speed and even delayed time settings. What’s more, the PCOR30 features light options, which allow the chef to select between a work or a dimmer night mode. The PCOR30 is 30” wide by 16 ¼” high by 15 ¼” deep and is available in stainless steel, black and arctic white.

By Anonymous DIAMOND BAR, CA January 7, 2004-—DACOR®, a leader in high-end kitchen appliance design, manufacturing and distribution, kicks off the new year with two brand new products: the Epicure® 36” Warming Oven (EWO36) and the Oven GlideRack™. The newest entries to the DACOR appliance line are the first of many new products the company is introducing this year.
The new EWO36 is the largest warming oven that DACOR offers and one of the largest on the market today. The warming oven has generous capacity and can hold up to 12 appetizer plates, six dinner plates, or three oversized serving platters. The DACOR warming oven will keep all types of food warm. With an adjustable moist/crisp slide, users can control the humidity within the oven keeping coffee cake moist and bacon crunchy.
The temperature and timer control for the EWO36 is positioned behind the drawer front and is tastefully hidden from view. With temperature settings ranging from 100 to 200 degrees, food is gently and evenly heated for optimal results. In addition, the four-hour timer control or the optional Sabbath compliant manual override is an option for continuous heating. Loading and unloading is safe and easy with a slide-mechanism drawer that glides smoothly to a fully open position.
The new warming oven complements DACOR’S Epicure 36” wall oven. Together, this popular combination lends a consistent and stylish appearance to any kitchen. The warming oven is available in stainless steel with optional black, chrome, brass or copper trim on the handle end caps to create a coordinated kitchen design.
In continuing their tradition of breakthrough design and performance, DACOR is proud to introduce the new oven GlideRack™. The fully extendable GlideRack™ slides effortlessly for easy loading and unloading and is ideal for cooking with heavy roasters, baking stones, and cookie sheets.
The GlideRack™ can accommodate up to 40 pounds and can be placed in multiple positions in the oven including the bottom rack where it provides complete clearance from the oven door. One GlideRack™ will be included in all of the Epicure ovens and ranges plus additional standard racks, but it is available as an accessory for all styles including the Millennia and Preference® line of ovens and ranges.
“DACOR’S new products address what our customers are looking for from us—size and performance,” said Larry Lamkins, assistant vice president of marketing for DACOR. “Our new warming oven is perfect for the home chef cooking for large parties and the new oven GlideRack™ can be used for multiple dishes. These two products are just an example of what DACOR will be introducing in the coming months as we continue to deliver quality innovative kitchen appliances.”
Founded in 1965, DACOR has introduced many industry firsts including the only 30” wide dishwasher for the home and an outdoor grill with built in halogen lights.
